No. 14 Arizona, No. 13 Michigan, No. 8 NC State, Clemson

No. 13 Michigan stamped a trio of wins on their 2025 resume with a solid performance in the first session of the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad. The Wolverines led the field through all four rotations, with their best scores coming on floor and bars, to finish with a score of 195.925. No. 14 Arizona narrowly finished in second after posting two 49-plus scores in their final two rotations for 195.825. Clemson placed third with a 195.350 and No. 8 NC State rounded out the first session with a 195.000.

Arizona’s Emily Mueller took the all-around victory with a 39.175, followed by teammates Abigayle Martin (39.100) and Alysen Fears (38.750). Martin also added an individual title on the beam with a 9.900. Michigan won the three remaining individual titles, with Carly Bauman’s performance on bars (9.900), Jahzara Ranger on the floor (9.900) and Sophia Diaz on the vault (9.850).

Rotation 1:

Michigan led the field after the first rotation with a 48.950 on vault. Diaz’ score of 9.850 was the highest of the rotation. NC State followed closely in second with 48.850 on bars and Katie Harper led the Wolfpack with a 9.825 routine. The Tigers posted a 48.775 score on beam while Brie Clark earned a score of 9.800. Arizona rounded out the first rotation in fourth with a 47.925 on the floor with help from Emma Strom who registered a 9.825 routine.

Rotation 2:

Michigan held steady in the first position after the conclusion of the second rotation. The Wolverines totaled a 48.975 in the bars aided by a 9.825 performance by Ava Jordan. Arizona posted the highest score of the rotation on vault with a 49.025. Clemson and Arizona sat tied in second with matching 97.925 as the Tigers registered a 48.750 on floor with help from Lily Lippeatt who registered 9.825.

Rotation 3:

Michigan earned a 48.775 score on the beam to maintain the Wolverine’s first-place position through the third rotation, but not without threat from a solid bars rotation from Arizona. Alysen Fears added a 9.900 and the team recorded another 49-plus rotation to inch the Wildcats closer to the lead. Clemson (vault) and NC State (floor) followed with a 48.800 and 48.675, respectively, to round out the third rotation.

Rotation 4:

Michigan clinched the session one title with a dominant performance on the floor in the final rotation. The Wolverines tallied 49.255 with help from anchor Jahzara Ranger (9.900). The Wildcats didn’t go down without a fight as Elena Deets and Abigayle Martin both collected 9.90 routines on beam to earn a 49.255. Clemson followed in third with a 49.025 (bars) and NC State concluded the meet with a 48.875 (vault).
